Veteran's Day
Here is the River Hill Church of Christ video salute to veterans, featuring local veterans. We have presented this every year since 2011 and it is always appreciated.

Our New Sign Has Been Installed!
On Friday July 14, 2023 Carl's Signs from North Huntingdon came and installed the new bright LED church sign. It can be programed from a laptop computer to display messages including animated backgrounds using bluetooth technology. This is a wonderful addition that provides just another way to welcome, uplift and inform visitors and members and even reach out to those passing by on the highway.
Funds have been raised as a partial payment, but donations are now welcome to help pay off the loan that has been taken out to pay for the sign.

Congratulations to all cooks who contributed to this year’s cook off to make it a wonderful home made luncheon on July 16, 2023. The decision to pick only one in each category was extremely difficult! To those of us who enjoyed the food, you are all winners!

Ruth Cain & Holly Cain tied for best main dish. Pat Marvenko Smith won for best side dish or salad. Paula Marvenko Zadroga won for best dessert. Each winner got a beautiful apron. Thanks to all who worked hard to make all the wonderful dishes that made this year's cook off a big success.
Christmas 2021
The celebration of Jesus' birthday at River Hill Church of Christ started with the children's program on Sunday evening December 19th.
On Christmas Eve, Friday Dec. 24 we remembered the reason for the season with a traditional candlelight communion service while the candles lit the entryways outside the church.

Memorial Day is a day to remember all those who fought and those who died for our freedom.
All gave some...some gave all.
Take a few minutes and stop by the River Hill memorial in front of the church to look at all the names of those brave men and women from our area who are engraved in stone. Thank God for their service and sacrifice.
The hoagie fundraiser on June 5, 2021 was a big success! Thank you to Allen, Joe & Nancy Tencer and Ruth Cain for organizing and helping with it.
Dottie Sanders recently did a beautiful job designing the floral arrangements for the front of the sanctuary. Thank you Dottie!
